Your initials or one of my 3D stamps can be embossed. The initials or stamp can stand out bright by leaving the personalized imprint the natural undyed leather colour or it can be more conservative by dying in the embossing to be the same colour of the leather. The initials or stamp can also be two-toned, e.g. black coloured initials against a brown background. These knife cases are made from sturdy 6-7 or 8-9 oz. cowhide depending on size of knife. A thick piece of leather generally runs between the front and back layers of the case along the stitching to prevent the blade from cutting the thread.
I craft the leather knife case by making a custom pattern to the curvature of the knife blade and handle. The snap strap is fit around the handle to determine the proper snugness and location before it is attached to the custom leather knife case.
Leather colours are black, light or dark brown. Hand tooled.
The ideal for me is to have a knife in hand, however, I realize that this is often not practical. I generally can craft a sheath with the following info: Tracing of blade only, tracing of whole knife, thickness of blade measurement, diameter of handle, pic of knife. Contact me with any questions.
